Blue Loose Silica Gel (Bulk)
Blue Silica Gel can adsorb up to 40% of its weight in moisture turning from a Blue (Dry) state to a Pink (wet) state as it absorbs moisture. Silica Gel in it's Loose (Bulk) form is simply Silica Gel beads without any breathable packaging and will be shipped in a heat sealed moisture barrier bag. Blue Silica Gel has been used for 100+ years in Military and Industrial Applications, but is not recommended for residential use due to containing Cobalt Chloride (II) which is classified as a IARC Group 2B carcinogen.Alternatives are available, please see our Orange Indicating Silica Gel which is Cobalt Chloride Free!
